The center provides high-quality otorhinolaryngological medical care, carries out complex diagnostics and treatments, conducts scientific research and improves doctors’ qualifications.Based on the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 1, 2023 No. PP-255 “On measures to improve and expand the coverage of the otorhinolaryngological service”, the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Diseases was established, coordinating work in the field of otorhinolaryngology, as well as the Republican Scientific and Practical Medical Center — The district (city) will organize its activities on the basis of a system of "medical institutions", establish specialized medical care in the field of otorhinolaryngological diseases and diseases of the head and neck, take measures to train specialists in these fields and develop their skills, form a scientific school, and introduce modern treatment methods into practice. diagnosis and treatment of otorhinolaryngological diseases and diseases of the head and neck, primary health care institutions of the healthcare system provide for the implementation of programs for the prevention, early detection and treatment of otolaryngological and cervical diseases, as well as the introduction into practice of state and non-state medical organizations of modern and high-tech methods of treatment of otolaryngological and cervical diseases in cooperation with by non-governmental medical organizations.
